Om telolet om ke Jakarta, Jogja dan Bali
*BACKDATED 10TH FEB TO 20TH FEB 2017
; So i started off my 2017 with the capital city of Indonesia called Jakarta. This city is just like any other cities in the world, high rise buildings, banks, mega malls, more and more hotels. A vibrant city with full history and monuments. Its really during daytime and cooling breeze at night. Yet its not really that safe to be walking alone espicially if you're a tourist. The traffic in Indonesia espicially in Jakarta is extremely bad you could take hours just to travel 10kilometers or less. Traffic congestions every day every time, it gets worse during peak hours.
; Here is my first monument of the night, The National Monument (Merdeka Tower) or known as independence tower.
; Satay (Sate) is Indonesia's all time favourite street food. Basically a beef or Chicken meat skewered and barbequed on a hot charcoal glazing with oil and touch of honey. Its really sweet and juicy and tender. Preferably Beef or Mutton meat cause of its smell and tenderness. Compared to neighbouring countries, Indonesia style of serving the Sate is served with rice with sambal at the side and uses Kicap Manis (Sweet thick soya sauce) poured onto the Sate meat.
; Khas Betawi Kerak Telur (Indonesia's old recipe Omelette egg). Back to the roots of old Omelette egg style method of cooking that is becoming less popular these days. Rare to find them around but the old generations is trying hard to preserve its old food tradition.
; One of the victim's houses turned museum.
; So the next day was a very fun one, We went to Timang beach. The only way for you to go to the other side is you gotta use the Gondola ride. Basically a cable car like operating system but uses primitive technology and operated human physical strength. It was a strong windy weather as the waves kept on crashing. I didnt took the ride as i am very afraid of heights. So only my friend took the ride.
; We have lobsters and some seafood like prawns and crabs cooked by locals. Indonesian sambal prawns, Lobsters with butter and black pepper sauce, steam crabs and vegetables.
; To the historical ancient place of the budhism called Candi Borobudur. This temple is like a pilgrimage for the Buddhist. Very old and full of history.
; My last destination of my last 4 days ended in Bali, First time i step foot in here. It felt a different side of Indonesia. Not the same one that I've been so far the couple of days ago. Bali is special because of its beautiful beaches and islands that they have to offer. Tourist atttractions is number one in here and it seems like to attract more Europeans and Westerners from all over the world. Some, well most of them white people even prefer working here to make money. One of the reason why some places you go to in Bali is expensive.
; Perfect relaxation and distressed away from work. Its really great to here. The fact that the cost of a massage causes 10 times cheaper than in your own country. Food is cheap too. Hotels and activities is cheap. Go to Kuta beach or Seminyak and have a chill at the beach session to relax. Watch the sea view.
; Bali style cooked. This is grilled eggplant with stuffed chicken and rice. very nice
; So i went to Uluwatu beach temple the next day. It said to be the most famous place to visit and they even have Dancing night show potraying the ancestory portraying and telling stories about the old civilization. How Bali was found and how Uluwatu was founded too.

; After 4 days in Jakarta city, I took a domestic flight to Jogja. Another city state that specializes more on rural natures. I prefer rural as it feels more adventerous so here it goes. Picture above is at Gunung Merapi (Active Volcano). Where we stood used to be a river valley but because of the Volcano lava eruption in the 90's. It wipes all water and villages and left it all abandoned and soon some places turned into a museum. A bunker was also damaged, It dosent help much as the bunker cant resist the extreme lava heat and enters in and kill everyone who is taking refuge inside.
